In 1991, the duet adopts the name Whimsical Twins and explores melancholic quality and electronic sound.
In 1995, they meet Jordi Mesnil whose warm voice inspires them to create yet another band named Beyond the Nightmare about Claudia in the following year.
In 1997, their first album Eerie Wishes is recorded in its first version, with 13 titles. Among which "Falling Dreams" (in English version and in French version) is replaced by "I'll Miss" (Boredom Product: 1999).
Beyond The Nightmare About Claudia's second demo album with Boredom Product, Deconstruction, is mixed in their studio between 2000 and 2002 and released in 2003. The first single is "Those Pleasures".
Unfortunately above label from Marseilles, decided only to produce electronical bands, which means releasing only house produced albums thus no more demo albums.
For the moment BTNAC still collaborates with Boredom Product, for example the electronic compilation Synthétique including the unreleased title "Stop Crying". The third album is on its way to the recording.
At the same time, Patryck Holdwem composes the soundtrack of Daniel Perez's movie Ex Machina, unreleased for the moment. In May, 2000, he had already composed the musics for the short film Slash by Daniel Perez.

Patryck Holdwem is also a member of Celluloide (Boredom Product).
Music Style
Patryck's music blends classical sounds; piano, violin, traditionnal percussions, etc. With often more electronic sounds and guitars. On certain tracks voices remind of forgotten languages from the ancient times...
Beyond the Nightmare about Claudia's inspiration comes from literature, films and of course from musicians. The influence varies from; Dead Can Dance, Bel Canto, Björk, to Portishead, from Jean Markale, Anne Rice, Fernando Pessoa to Marion Zimmer Bradley, from David Lynch, David Fincher to Neil Jordan.
The first album, Eerie Wishes, reminds irreparably of the heavenly voices, the gothic atmosphere and the musical universe of the 80's. The music and the lyrics are written by Patryck Holdwem.
The album is mixed by U-0176 from Thee Hyphen, who also plays the guitar.
On the piece "Andemio", the band invites Ce'Nedra, the female singer of Czsésium 137, one of the bands from Boredom Product label.
The second album, Deconstruction, is recorded between 2000 and 2002, with delays. In this album one still finds influences from the 80's, along with more contemporary styles. The lyrics are darker and the music is varied.
The mixing was realized by U-0176 and Patryck Holdwem.
The group invites this time a new vocalist on " Never leave me ", an Irish woman named Camilla Bywater.
Eric Munier plays guitar on "Où sommes-nous?".
The lyrics for "Bien fait pour toi" is the first lyrics written by Jordi Mesnil.
The first single "Those Pleasures" is available as a demo Maxi-CD, along with one remix, one unreleased title, and two new mixes from the album Eerie Wishes, "Blood Brothers" (U.K Version) and "This Night" (Darkness Club Remix).
